The Museum of Madinat al-Zahra wins the 2012
"European Museum of the Year Award" (EMYA) at the
Annual Assembly of the European Museums Forum (EMF),
an organisation belonging to the Council of Europe.
فاز متحف مدينة الزهراء بالمتحف الأوروبي لعام 2012
بجائزة "(EMYA) في المنتدى السنوي للجمعية الأوروبية

متحف إسبانيا الوطني للآثار
يحتوي هذا المتحف على مجاميع كبيرة من الآثار الأندلسية
معظمها يعود إلى القرن التاسع والعاشر الميلادي
وتتألف من أواني فخارية متنوعة الأشكال والاستعمال
ومزينة بزخارف وخطوط عربية، كما توجد مجموعة
من الصناديق المصنوعة من العاج ويبدو أنها كانت
تستخدم لخزن وحفظ الحلي والأدوات النسائية
.وهي من آثار مدينة الزهراء

The castle of Gormaz حصن غرماج
يمثل حصن غرماج أهم قلعة من بين القلاع الباقية من فترة الخلافة
على طول خط دويرو؛ ويشكل بعمارته الجيدة والبسيطة
ومحيطه الواسع البالغ 380 متراً، مع كل من مدينة الزهراء
ومسجد قرطبة، المعالم الثلاثة الأكثر إعجاباً التي تعود للخلافة الأموية
The castle of Gormaz is the most important of the fortresses
that have survived from the Caliphate period
along the Douro. Its excellent and sober architecture
and its enormous size of 380 metres make it one
of the most conspicuous monuments of the
Umayyad Caliphate along with Madinat al-Zahra
and the Great Mosque at Córdoba.

يعرض في هذا الدير النسيج الذي كان يغطي باب خيمة السلطان
الموحدي محمد الناصر لدين الله
غنم هذا النسيج الجيش االمسيحي في معركة العقاب في 16 يوليو1212
،هرب السلطان مع تسرع كبير، وترك هذا النسيج الى جانب أشياء أخرى عديدة
عندما هاجم رجال سانشو السابع ملك نافارا العبيد الأفارقة
الذين يحرسون خيمة السلطان
The Abbey contains:
The tapestry that covered the tent of the Almohad Sultan
Muhammad Al-Nasir , This tapestry was seized by the Christians
at the Battle of Las Navas de Tolosa on July 16, 1212.
When Sancho VII of Navarre's men drove through
an enchained circle of African slaves guarding the Sultan
tent, the Sultan fled with great haste, leaving this tapestry
along with several other prizes of war behind.

* The Islamic fortified complex of Calatayud (Cal’ at Ayyub)
مجموعة التحصينات الاسلامية بقلعة ايوب
it is the oldest Muslim fortified complex of
the Iberian Peninsula. Its origins date back
to the year 716. There we can see wonderful
castles, the Arab Gate, the Albarrana Tower
or the Longía fortress.
